The fast-evolving Adventure off-roader segment in India has grabbed the attention of manufacturers profoundly. With the fast approaching launches of new bikes and off-roaders, along with updates to existing models such as the scrambler X, it would be fair to say that BMW has started taking keen interest in the Indian market segment as well. The brand is planning to launch an all new F450Gs as per the recent spy shots. showcased the F450 GS at EICMA 2024 and then at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
BMW F450 GS
In a recent update, the bike has been seen being tested in India. The segment had already seen an entrant from BMW with the GS 310 which has been discontinued, The brand is now planning to bring in a F 450 GS to the nations fast evolving adventure off roader segment. The bike was seen being tested was under a heavy camouflage and hence it did not reveal any details about the final look of the vehicle.

While the finer details remained camouflaged, under the disguise the quintessential silhouette of the bike was enough to give up the finer details about the update. The beak like appearance of the bike along with a tall windscreen clearly gave away that under the camouflage the bike was a F450 Gs.
New Features
The stand out feature that stood out would be the presence of G310 GS rims that had Eurogrip Duratrail EB+ tires. The test mules were seen being tested with heavy luggage and accessories. One of the units was seen with a set of handguards. Both the test mules had significant changes, hence its possible that F450 GS might be launched into two separate road and off road based variants.
While BMW has not revealed any details about the launch of the bike, it’s expected that the F450 GS would break cover sometime in Late 2025. An Indian launch can follow soon too. The bike would have its work cut out for it as it would have to go against a slew of rivals that include Royal Enfield Himalayan as well as the KTM 390 Adventure.
