Honda Activa has been a famous vehicle in the commuter segment. Over the years the Activa moniker has been able to provide easy mobility need of the nation. But with changing times its become apparent that that Honda would have to bring in a new EV version of the Honda Activa. Honda is gearing up to launch up their new EV model soon at the Auto Expo.
Honda Activa E
The Honda Activa E would be powered by a 6 KW motor that would allow the vehicle to have a range of about 102 km on a single charge. The Top speed of the vehicle would be around 80 km and the motor would churn out a peak torque out put of around 22Nm.
Honda QC1–2025
Honda Would launch another version of their Activa-E with a fixed battery at the Auto Expo. The performance specs of the QC 1 would be inferior to be that of the Activa-E. The QC1 would have a total range of around 80 km on a single charge. The battery of the QC1 would be able to churn out the max torque of around 77 Nm.
Comparisons
Honda Activa E VS Ola S1
The Honda Activa E is powered by a 6KW motor that gives the scooter a range of about 102km. Beyond that the Ola S1 has different battery options along its lineup. With the 2KWH battery pack the Ola S1x provides a driving range of around 95 to 151 km. On the 4kwh battery pack the Ola S1x gets a range of around 193 km.
Honda Activa E Vs I Qube
The TVS I qube is available in several variants all of them are powered by a 2.2 KWH as well as a 3.4 KWH battery pack. The range of the 2.2 KWH battery pack is around 75 KM while the range of the 3.4 KWH battery pack is around 100km. The Activa E has a range of around 102km.
Conclusion
The range of the Honda Activa E is lesser than that of the Ola models, while its range is better than that of the I qube. So if the prime determinant of your choice is the range on a single full charge, than Honda as well as the Ola range could be the best choice for you. Honda Activa is yet to be launched soon, hence if you need a vehicle right now you would have to buy either the Ola or the TVS I Qube.
