Honda has a significant grasp on the two-wheeler market in India, over the years the Activa-E has been one of the most formidable performer in the market. Honda Activa-E
The Honda Activa name has been synonymous with the gearless scooter commuter segment in India. Witnessing the change in trends and the shift of the market towards EV based vehicles Honda has launched their new Honda Activa-E as well as a QC1 for the market.
The bookings of both the vehicles have been initiated and interested buyers can book the vehicle for the sum of 1000 Rs. The Activa-E is the flagship vehicle amongst the two. It has been laden with features such as a TFT Display, Bluetooth Connectivity, Incoming Call Alerts and Navigation on the Top End Variant. Rather than just launching a new vehicle, Honda has had the foresight to establish a charging station network all along India. The vehicle is delivered with a set of two batteries each being 1.5 KWH, so that total capacity of the vehicle is around 3KWH. As per the official reports the users would be able to charge the batteries at Honda’s Own Battery Swapping stations.
TVS I-QUBE
Launched in 2020, the TVS I-QUBE is available in different variants. These include a I-Qube, I-Qube s as well as a I-Qube ST. The I-Qube is available with two battery options the 2.2 KWH as well as a 3.4 KW battery pack. Beyond that the I-Qube S only has a 3.4 KWH battery pack and the St has a 3.4 KWH as well as a 5.4 KWH battery pack. The driving range of the different variants is different and vary between 75 to a 150 km’s for the top variant.

Conclusion
Both the vehicles have a variety of options and hence a user can judge their usage and choose a variant that would suit their use the best. The ranges of the I-Qube across variants varies from 75 to 150 km for the top of the line ST variant. While the Honda Activa-E has a completely new platform with swappable batteries Honda has not been able to establish its battery swap stations as of yet. It still is a mystery how Honda would be able to establish their battery stations all across the nation.
