The SUV has been showcased at the annual dealer convention in India. Honda showcasing that vehicle amid rumor’s that it might be launched clearly showcases the imminent launch of the car in the future. The car would be the second string hybrid in the country with a already existing City e:HEV.
The Honda ZR-V e: HEV comes with a design slightly different from all the other vehicles currently in the Honda Lineup. The front fascia of the car has the same kind of grill as that of the Elevate. But this one carries the curves and lines of the bonnet through till the radiator grill. The SUV also gets unique design and soft edges complemented by a completely new headlamp cluster with DRL’s placed at the lower end of the headlamp cluster. A similar pattern is followed throughout the vehicle , with dual exhaust tips at the rear.
Interior Design
The interior design of the vehicle is quite minimalistic as per news reports. The Brand also offers 10.2 – inch instrument cluster, for the driver. The list of features would also includes wireless charger, dual zone climate control, telescopic and more. For safety, The brand also offers a suite for ADAS level 2 features.
The Honda ZR-V gets Two powertrains options in the international market. A 1.5 liter turbo petrol and a strong Hybrid powertrain. The complete Hybrid set up of the car has a 2.0 liter petrol engine aided by two electric motors. The system has a combined power of 181 hp and a whopping 315 NM torque. This variant comes along with a CVT.
Honda’s eHEV System
Honda has a instilled its great amount of innovative technology in their City E: Hev. The technology allows the vehicle to run on a hybrid mode that uses energy from both the motor as well as the engine. In this mode the engine works as a generator to power the batteries. A EV drive mode where the lithium ion batteries power the wheels. beyond that the vehicle also has a normal mode in which the 1.5 cc engine powers the vehicle.
