KIA has unveiled the Carens Clavis and initiated the booking process from 9th may and as per a recent update the prices of the Clavis would be revealed later on on May 23. The Clavis is a updated premium version of the Carens and would be sold alongside the regular MPV. The Car would be available in Both 6 seat and 7 seat configurations as well as petrol and Diesel Engine options. The redesigned front bumpers and the rear bumpers have been able to give the car a more impressive SUV like appeal.
Beyond the new bumpers and a front fascia the car has also been given new 17 inch alloy wheels as well. The interior witnesses subtler design changes that include a new dual screen infotainment setup with new ambient lighting systems as well as a 8 Speaker Bose surround sound system that would be equipped on the top of the line variants.
KIA Carens Clavis Variants Explained
The Carens Clavis would retain the same engine options as before a 115hp, 1.5 Litre Petrol and 6 Speed manual . A 1.5 liter turbo Diesel with 6 speed manual as well as a 6 speed automatic that churns out 116Hp. And beyond that a 1.5 litre Turbo petrol with 6 speed iMT, 7 speed dual clutch auto and a 6 speed manual gearbox would be used as well. The Carens and Clavis would be available in 7 trims – HTE,HTE(O),HTK,HTK+(O),HTX and HTX+

The Expected price range of the new Clavis would be between Rs 11 Lakh and would step beyond Rs 20 lakh Ex Showroom.
