KTM’s are known for their aggressive performances, but this time around it seems that the the bike surpassed its limits. As per a recent post that was shared on Instagram by Abhinav Bhatt- a motorbike enthusiast a new-gen KTM Duke 390 Adventure was able to easily surpass its top speed limit. The Top speed of the KTM Duke 390 is around 153 km/h but as per the reel, the bike was able to surpass the limit without breaking a sweat.
Abhinav Bhatt who shared the video on his Instagram handle is a known bike enthusiast, and it was while riding the bike he took it to its utmost limit. The Bike easily went till the speed limit of a whopping 160 km/h. The feat has astounded many enthusiasts over the social media platform. A few of them have commented that the abrupt speed rise could have been because of subtle decline on the road or something else.
Under-Reporting Performance Specs
Underreporting the performance specs has been a go-to alternative for many manufacturers over the years. Or it’s possible that the speed sensor that taps into the speed from the wheels might not have been calibrated properly. Whatever the reason might be the fans have showcased their rejoice on the matter and further a few followers also showcased concerns for rising at such high speeds.
KTM Adventure 390 Specs
The Duke Adventure 390 is powered by a 4 stroke, single-cylinder DOHC engine, the engine churns out 46ps of power @ 8500 rpm. The Torque figure that the engine produces is 39Nm @6500 rpm. The Bike Disc brakes on both ends. The Bike is equipped with special riding modes, a quick-shifter, cruise control and Navigation. We do not condone fast riding.
