Mahindra has released a slew of new teasers regarding the launch of the new Freedom Nu platform, all set to launch on August 15. In a recent update, 4 new concept SUVs have been teased, and the campaign also carries both Mahindra’s and Mahindra EV’s Twin Peaks logos, which further indicate the platform’s multi-fuel capabilities. Mahindra has plans to develop a range of sub-brands, and each of these upcoming concepts is expected to add to the family of existing models going forward.
The new teasers have revealed four new names: Vision T, Vision S, Vision X, and Vision SXT. Keeping the details under wraps, Mahindra has only showcased the top-angle view of the bonnet as of yet. Going by the revealed images, it’s evident that the brand is planning to launch a slew of new SUVs.
Mahindra Vision T
The vistas in the teaser further indicate that it’s possible that the Vision T in the name likely points towards a vehicle that belongs to the Thar family. The first look showcases a square bonnet, butch wheel arches, and visible hood latches that give away the adventure outlook of the vehicle. Autocar has revealed that Vision T has resemblances with the Thar-e concept that Mahindra showcased in South Africa back in 2023.
Mahindra Vision S
The Vision S model belongs to the Scorpio family of vehicles. The vehicle is undoubtedly an SUV, going by the upright stance and the aggressive appeal. The Scorpio currently comprises the N as well as the classic, and this could be a third model in the lineup.
Mahindra Vision SXT
The SXT could be another derivative of the T version of the family; the vehicle had a very similar bonnet to that of the T variant, which had similarities with the Thar model. The vehicle seen in the teaser had protruding wheel arches as well as an upright stance. The Vision SXT might be a pickup truck based on the Thar.
Mahindra Vision X
Possibly a concept of the XUV family, this could be a more premium and Urban positioning. This might be the long-awaited XEV 7e, which will be a more traditional SUV alternative to the XEV9e Coupe SUV. The vehicle has been spied testing a few times, and Mahindra might unveil the vehicle on August 15. Going by the fact that Mahindra has been planning to unveil three models, the upcoming Independence Day gala does not seem any less extravagant than any of the previous iterations.
