A recent update from The Commerce Ministry has revealed that the third edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) would be held from February 4-9-2027, in Delhi NCR. Going by the new dates it seems that BMGE has switched to a new format, a change from the usual annual format that was prevalent in the last few years.

It appears that the annual format has been chosen so that manufacturers have more time to build and showcase the next generation of mobility solutions. The new announcement comes months after the previous BMGE ( Bharat Mobility Global Expo) that was held in January. In addition to the new format of earlier editions featuring exhibitions, technical sessions and stakeholder consultations, the 2027 BMGE might add a dedicated section on multi modal, mobility and logistics encompassing rail, road, air, water, urban and rural mobility. The show would focus on tractors and agricultural mobility solutions.

Highlights From The Recent Show

The BMGE 2025 was the world’s second largest auto show, attracting nearly 10 lakh visitors and over 1500 exhibitors. The event was held across multiple venues in Delhi-NCR, including Bharat Mandapam. Like Honda, Audi, Renault and Nissan, all such brands have announced that they would soon be showcasing cars at the upcoming show.

The BMGE is not the only show that has witnessed changes, International Auto Shows, including Frankfurt, Geneva and Detroit are either being scaled down, being postponed or restructured as the auto industry moves  from extensive exhibitions to more focused brand events.
