New Delhi: Good news for Renault Duster lovers, the company is soon going to launch its next-generation variant. This car was quite popular among people but was discontinued due to certain reasons. Now, the new generation Duster model might be introduced in the market soon. The company is also working on a new 7-seater SUV. Here, we will provide details about the upcoming car’s design, features, and launch.
New Renault Duster: Features
According to reports, the testing of the new Renault Duster has begun, and it will be based on the CMF-B modular architecture. Compared to the old model, the new Renault Duster will have a larger size. Expect to see a new grille, thin LED headlights, taillights, a redesigned bumper, and a multi-mode gearbox. Additionally, you might notice door handles on the front and pillar-mounted door handles at the rear.
AWD Setup: The new Duster will come with an AWD setup, maintaining the off-road credentials of the current model. The SUV will offer generous ground clearance and departure angles. The ground clearance of the second-generation model is 214-217mm, with a 30° approach angle and 33-34° departure angle.
Renault Duster: Engine
Speaking of the engine, it will feature a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, and the car will be equipped with mild hybrid technology. There is a possibility of a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine as well. It will have a 1.2 kWh battery. This engine provides a combined power output of 138bhp and offers a driving range of 900 kilometers on a full tank.
Renault Duster Launch Details
Regarding the launch of the new Duster, the car is expected to globally debut between September and November 2023. However, the company has not shared any official information about it.
