Tata has been a formidable player in the Indian market, their presence in the market has grown over the years and their cars have showcased some of the highest safety ratings for Adult occupants. The brand seems to be planning a major line-up update, as several under-development test mules have been spotted testing in the recent few years.
The Mid Cycle Refresh of the Altroz is expected to provide the vehicle with minor cosmetic updates. It is possible that with the facelift Tata might give the car new features across the different variants. The car that was seen testing was under heavy camouflage, hence most of the cosmetic changes that the car has gone through were not visible.
The car had a new bumper with a few new design details such as vertical creases below the fog lamps, and LED elements in the tail lights as well as indicators.
Altroz Interior Changes

As per the report that has been published upon the spotting by Autocar it has become apparent that the new car would have a 10.25-inch unit, which would be seen on the top-spec variant of the car. The car would possibly have new upholstery along with new premium features as well.
Sunroof Unlikely For Altroz Facelift
It’s possible that the new car would have a slew of new features such as ventilated seats in different variants along with a larger infotainment screen that would be bigger than that available with the older gen models. The new model might not offer the presence of a sunroof.
Engine and Specs
As of yet, the Altroz is available with an 88 hp producing 1.2litre 4 cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. A CNG version of the Altroz is also on sale, along with a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. The Altroz racer has a 120 hp, 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed transmission that it shares with the Altroz Facelift. This car can rival the likes of Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, and a few other hatchbacks upon its launch.
