Tata Harrier EV VS Suzuki E-Vitara And Hyundai Creta: Range Features And Charging Time Compared!

While the E Vitara has a rear wheel drive module in select trim levels the Hyundai Creta does not have any, all-wheel drive option- Further Details Below-

Tata has been able to gain a formidable recognition in the EV sphere thanks to their affordable EV’s such as the Punch as well the Nexon. But this time around the brand is planning to bring in their new Harrier EV that would compete against the likes of new Hyundai Creta EV as well as Suzuki E Vitara. Tata has showcased the prowess of the vehicle in a recent showcase where they drove the vehicle through a range of slopes and inclines. The vehicle would allegedly be powered by a 75 KWH battery that would offer a range of about 500Km.

Upon its launch, the car would go against the likes of Hyundai Creta Electric, and  Maruti Suzuki E- Vitara. While the E Vitara has a rear wheel drive module in select trim levels the Hyundai Creta does not have any, all-wheel drive option. As per an older leak that was reported by Auto bhp the car would have a 75KWH battery pack and the AWD capabilities would be given to only the empowered trim variant.  Beyond the other additions the car would also get a 12.3 inch free standing screen along with ADAS level 2 assisted safety level features.

Here is a comparison of  the Tata Harrier against the Suzuki E Vitara as well as the Hyundai Creta Electric. 

Suzuki E-Vitara

Suzuki’s E-Vitara is the first EV vehicle from Suzuki, And it would be fair to say that Suzuki has left no stones un turned to make this one a formidable option for buyers. The car is being offered with ventilated seats, flexible boot space and various other features.

Suzuki has introduced their new HEARTECT-e platform a ground up redesign that is meant for EV’s and provides perfect blend of innovation, efficiency and performance. The E-Vitara has been equipped with a high capacity battery that comprises of Lithium IO based cells that have bene tested for their operability from -30 degree to 60 degree C. The battery equipped on the car would be a 61 KWH unit that would offer a range of around 500Km.

Hyundai Creta EV

Hyundai Creta EV is the other competitor that the Tata Harrier would go against. The Creta Electric would be powered by a 42 kWh battery as well as a 51.4 kWh battery with a claimed range of 473 km. Comparing against the Harrier the Creta EV misses out on a bunch of drive features and off road capabilities that make it much more of a conventional sub compact SUV vehicle. The EV battery specs of the Harrier EV have not been revealed yet.
