Tata Motors Price Rise: Automobile giant Tata Motors on Monday informed about hiking the prices of its passenger cars with effect from July 17. However, Tata Motors also informed about granting protection on all bookings till July 16, 2023.

The raised prices will be applied to both ICE vehicles and EVS. As per the company, on average, buyers can expect the prices to go up by 0.6 per cent across models and variants. The company blamed rising input costs and regulatory changes for the increased prices, the automobile firm further informed the buyers about providing price protection to bookings made until July 16 and deliveries up to July 31.

Auto giant made sales of 2,26,245 units in the Q1 of the financial year 2023-24 compared to 2,31,248 units sold in the Q1 of the financial year 2022-23.

For the domestic sales made on June 23, Tata Motors administered sales of 80,383 units, as they marked higher sales figures in comparison to June 22 with 79,606 units sold.

For total sales made in the domestic market for both PVs (Photovoltaic vehicles) and EVs (Electric vehicles), a total of 47,235 units was sold on June 23 compared to 45,197 units on June 22.

Earlier in April, the implementation of BharatStage VI norms led to an increase in the prices of vehicles across segments in India.
