In a bit to move towards Carbon Neutrality, Toyota has been implementing various different mobility solutions that would help it step towards a more sustainable future. The Multi pathway approach by Toyota, has led the brand to launch electrified vehicles specifically designed keeping the needs of the users in perspective. These mobility solutions have been tailored to the users needs to ensure a perfect solution for mobility along with the achievement of overall sustainability goals.
Since BEV’s have become the new genre of vehicles that are a inherent part of the EV shift. Toyota has announced the launch of the all new BZ7 BEV. The vehicle follows the already existing Bz4x, bZ3, bZ3x and bZ5. Beyond this the brand has also launched Lexus ES-BEV which follows the UX and RZ BEV’s in order to further accelerate the overall shift to EV vehicles.
The BZ7
The BZ7 that has been launched in China, has been developed by Guangzhou Automobile group along with support from Electro Mobility R&D China. The BEV sedan that would soon prowl on Chinese roads is over 5 meters long. The car has been launched with latest technology, being the flagship model of the chine BEV line up. Toyota would further be proceeding toward development and commercialization within a year.
Lexus ES
The Lexus ES that has also been launched in China has both BEV’s as well as a HEV specifications. The vehicle has a spacious rear seat package with the latest technology that provides a high quality and comfortable interior. The ES is a personification of the Lexus designs inspired by the powertrain solutions of today
The BEV vehicles are considered to be a integral part of the overall shift to the EV powertrains of the Future. While Toyota has launched the new cars in China to upkeep its place in the highly competitive market, Toyota has showcased no impetus to launch any such vehicle in India as of yet.
