TVS Jupiter is a valiant competitor in the affordable two scooter segment in India. The scooter goes against the likes of Honda Activa and Suzuki Access. To retain the competitive edge over Honda and Suzuki competitors, the scooter would probably be given a facelift soon. As per a recent update, over at TVS’s Instagram page it has been revealed that the TVS Jupiter would have refreshed looks soon. The First teaser that has been uploaded over at Instagram has revealed a slew of new details.
New TVS Jupiter 125
The all new 125cc TVS Jupiter could soon impact the sales figure of its competitors with a design change that would make it much more appealing. The scooter has been one of the most appealing choices above the Honda Activa. With the new update TVS would be able to strengthen its position in the 125 cc scooter segment. The Instagram post by TVS read Style, Power and Performance. The teaser further shows a single piece seat with a new rear pillion grab rail. It’s possible that the new scooter might be launched in a new copper shade in the lineup.
New TVS Jupiter 125 Design
The new 125CC scooter would have styling elements similar to that of the Jupiter 110. So expect Sleek Horizontal LED DRLs and sleek LED turn indicators and LED tail lights. Beyond that its possible that the new Jupiter might be equipped with 12 inch wheels, Petal Disc brakes, a front fuel cap and a large underseat storage.
TVS has always been able to offer a slew of tech features at the most reasonable prices and hence it’s only inevitable that the new Jupiter would be equipped with a TFT cluster and advanced connectivity through Bluetooth.
The new scooter would probably be powered by the same engine as before a 125cc single cylinder air cooled engine. The engine delivers 8BHP and 10.5 Nm with I go assist and is able to crank out 8.4 Bhp and 11.1 Nm of peak torque. While TVS has not confirmed any details about the launch of the scooter, it’s possible that the scooter would be launched somewhere around the festive season.
