However, even before the launch, the company has provided a glimpse of the upcoming bike. Hero has shared a teaser of the 2023 Xtreme 160R through its official social media handles. The interesting thing is that the new Hero motorcycle will feature a stunning combination of black and golden colors. Let’s take a look at the new avatar of the Hero Xtreme 160R.
The Hero Xtreme 160R is an excellent motorcycle that offers a sporty look and fantastic performance. Additionally, the bike comes with several connectivity features.
However, compared to competitor bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Hero’s bike falls behind in terms of premium features such as USD forks and dual ABS.
The charm of black and golden color
India’s largest two-wheeler company, Hero MotoCorp, is set to launch the updated model of the Xtreme 160R. The upcoming bike will come with USD forks. Additionally, there may be changes in style and new color options as well. In the latest teaser, we can see the Xtreme 160R showcased in black color. The bike also features black alloy wheels and golden USD forks.
Expectations of dual-channel ABS
In addition, the company has also showcased the exhaust and revving sound in the teaser. If Hero wants to compete with bikes from companies like Bajaj, TVS, and Suzuki, it will need to bring some more updates. Competing solely with golden USD forks may not be enough. The safety kit of the updated Xtreme 160R can also be upgraded with dual-channel ABS.
2023 Hero Xtreme 160R: Engine
The engine of the updated model of Hero Xtreme will remain unchanged. It will retain the existing 163 cc air-cooled engine’s power. The upcoming bike will come with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. In comparison, the Pulsar NS160 comes with a 160.3 cc oil-cooled 4-valve engine.
