Volkswagen is getting ready to launch their CBU import the Golf GTI India. As per previous details it had been revealed that the car would be brought to India in limited numbers. Before the official launch of the car it has been recently spotted while on a test run. The vehicle was seen without any camouflage for the first time and its inevitable that the car would soon be offered for pre- launch booking.
The spy shot has further added fuel to the simmering fire of expectations and anticipation for the upcoming vehicle. Only 250 units would be imported to India, and considering the number of enthusiasts ready to pay top dollar for the bookings there’s going to be a cut throat competition for the car. The spy shot that has been doing rounds over the internet reported by ZigWheels was taken from the side profile. As per the vista the car would have 5 spoke alloy wheels and a new sporty, it would also be equipped with red calipers. The car has A GTI badging near the front door, and thanks to the sporty outlook of the vehicle it sits on lowered and stiffer suspension. The rear lights would have 3D tail lights and a roof mounted spoiler.
Interior Features
As per the features that have been visible on the international variant the car would have a large 12.9 inch touch screen infotainment system. Beyond that the GTI hatchback also has a GTI Specific Digital Instrument cluster and red interior inserts as well.
Since this is the sportier version often regarded as the go to choice for enthusiasts the optional extras that are available for this variant are a little different in the international market. What kind of features Volkswagen offers for it might soon be revealed as well. The Indian spec variant might not be offered with an extensive choice in optional extras. Multizone climate control, wireless Android Auto, Apple Car Play and Ventilated seats would be some of the features that the car would be equipped with.
