New Maruti Dzire: All Details

The new Dzire carry an entirely revamped front-end design, bearing no similarity to the latest Swift introduced earlier this year. This landmark compact sedan features a prominent grille at the front, accompanied by sleek rectangular LED headlamps. The new Dzire boasts sleek fog lamps, glossy black trim, and chrome accents.

The new Dzire’s rear features sleek Y-shaped LED tail lamps, connected by a stylish chrome strip. The rear design of the car includes a boot-lid with a raised spoiler-style element, paired with curvy elements on the bumper. The top-of-the-line variants are rumoured to come up with stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The leaked interior image reveals that the Dzire will share its cabin layout with the Swift, featuring a 9-inch floating touchscreen display and an updated steering wheel. The Dzire is expected to feature a segment-first electric sunroof. The car will get an analogue instrument cluster paired with a 4.2-inch digital multi-information display (MID). According to media reports, the new Dzire could get ADAS features, likely in higher trims.

The new Dzire’s interior features a dual-tone black and beige theme, unlike the Swift’s all-black cabin. The car will also feature wooden trim on the dashboard, complemented by a silver trim beneath it. The Dzire will be featuring a 9-inch floating touchscreen display, cruise control and a segment-first electric sunroof.

The next-gen Dzire is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. This will produce 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque. Maruti will offer Dzire with a standard 5-speed manual transmission and 5-speed AMT (automated manual transmission).

The Maruti may price new Dzire’s base variant at around Rs 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will rival Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and upcoming new-gen Honda Amaze among others.
