During a budget session discussion, Haryana Revenue and Disaster Management Minister, Vipul Goel, underscored the government's commitment to cow protection. Additionally, funds for cattle fodder, previously Rs 1.85 crore, have increased significantly, with Rs 163 crore allocated this year to cow shelters. The state has also established two cow sanctuaries in Panipat and Hisar, rehabilitating nearly 6,000 stray cattle.
