The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector Scheme launched by the Government of India in February 2019 to provide financial support to farmers across the country. The scheme will provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in India. It will give eligible farmers Rs 6,000 annually in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000, directly credited to their bank accounts for a financial year. The scheme is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in coordination with state governments.
Disbursement of 20th Instalment
The 19th instalment of the PM-Kisan scheme, which was ₹22,000 crore in total, was given to farmers in February through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT). This means the next payment is expected to be given in June 2025. The 20th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is expected to be released around next month in June 2025. The Rs 2000 amount is credited in the gap of three months.
