Startup Boom: Over 16 Lakh Jobs Created In India – See The Industry-Wise List

Three flagship schemes - Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS), Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), and Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS) - provide critical support to startups across different stages of their growth journey.

Startup Boom: As part of the Startup India initiative, the Government is continually working to foster the growth and development of the startup ecosystem, with a focus on boosting job creation nationwide. Startups recognized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) as per the eligibility criteria outlined in G.S.R. notification 127 (E) dated February 19, 2019, have reportedly generated over 16.6 lakh direct employment opportunities across more than 55 diverse industries, including non-tech sectors.
