New Delhi: After the murder of Shraddha Walker, a similar case of murder of a live-in partner has emerged from Delhi. Another live-in partner has murdered his girlfriend. The accused was absconding after committing the crime. The accused has been identified as Manpreet and the police has already arrested him.
Manpreet was living with Rekha in Ganesh Nagar area of Delhi. It is alleged that he killed his live-in partner Rekha Rani. Manpreet is a history sheeter. He fled to Punjab after killing Rekha. The Delhi Police caught him from Punjab. He is accused in several other cases of murder and kidnapping.
Rekha was living with Manpreet since 2015
Manpreet was living with Rekha since 2015. He was married in 2006 an had two sons from his wife. Manpreet was working as dealer of sale and purchase of second hand cars. Manpreet had killed Rekha on December 1. Rekha’s 16-year-old daughter was also living with Rekha.
Manpreet mixed sleeping pills in food
Manpreet has mixed sleeping pills in the food and gave it to Rekha’s daughter. After eating the food she fell asleep as it was mixed with the pill. After this, Manpreet stabbed Rekha to death. He then ran away from the house after locking it from outside.
Police found Rekha’s dead body
The police received the information of Rekha’s murder on Friday afternoon. Following this the police officials from Tilak Nagar police station reached the house where Rekha was murdered. They found that the gate of the house was locked. They broke the lock and on entering the house they found that Rekha’s dead body was lying on the floor.
