A 20-year-old man died, and four others got injured in a terrible car crash in Karnataka. The car hit a divider on a highway at high speed, causing it to flip four times before finally stopping. The crash was so bad that two people were thrown out of the car as it rolled over.
The accident happened early on Monday morning near Kattihosahalli in Doddaballapur taluk, according to the police.
A video of the crash showed the car speeding and hitting the divider. The car flew onto the traffic island and flipped several times. The force of the impact threw two people out of the car. By the fourth flip, the car was back on the road, lying on its side. One of the car’s wheels kept rolling away, while a survivor was seen getting out of the wrecked vehicle after it stopped.
Driver Killed, Four Others Hurt in Car Crash
Police say the car was traveling from Dharwad to Vijayapura in Devanahalli taluk when the crash occurred.
“The driver, Mohammad Yunus (20), died from his injuries at the hospital. Four other people in the car were injured and are now being treated in the hospital,” a police official stated.
An investigation is underway, and initial reports suggest that speeding might have caused the crash.
