Delhi Pollution: AQI Plunges To ‘Poor’, IMD Predicts Partly Cloudy Weather And Shallow Fog On…

Warm conditions are predicted until Tuesday with temperatures rising up to 28°C. Meanwhile, the IMD observed a fall in minimum temperatures up to 2°C over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded in the range of 24 to 26°C and 08 to 09°C respectively.

Delhi Pollution: The air quality in the national capital slipped to the ‘poor’ quality on Monday morning after remaining in the ‘moderate’ category for three consecutive days. The overall AQI was recorded as 256 at 6 am today, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The AQI has shown promising signs of improvement for the past few days, bringing the much-needed relief to the citizens of Delhi. However, the Early Warning System For Delhi forecasts the AQI to remain in the ‘Poor’ category on 10th and 11th February.

Fog Forecast

Forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) suggests ‘shallow fog’ will persist across the city till the 11th of February, followed by ‘mist’ till 14th. Additionally, warm conditions are predicted until Tuesday with temperatures rising up to 28°C. Meanwhile, the IMD observed a fall in minimum temperatures up to 2°C over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded in the range of 24 to 26°C and 08 to 09°C respectively.

IMD Forecasts Clear Weather Till…

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts clear weather in Delhi on 9th, 11th and 12th of February and a partly cloudy weather across the city on the 10th.

AQI In Different Parts Of Delhi

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the following AQIs were reported in different parts of Delhi as of 6 am today: Okhla Phase 2 (250), Alipur (270), Rohini (307), ITO (297), Ashok Vihar (302), Shadipur (218), Mundka (322), Anand Vihar (316), Wazirpur (303), Jahangirpuri (322), Narela (286), DTU CPCB (205), R.K. Puram (284), Pusa IMD (219) and Punjab Bagh (271).
