Delhi Pollution: Delhi residents woke up to light rain on Saturday morning amid weather transition. The air quality continues to remain in the ‘moderate’ category for second consecutive day this week. There has been significant improvement in the air quality of national capital. The AQI was recorded at 128 on Saturday at 7 am, according to the CPCB. Favourable Meteorological conditions have been attributed to the improvement in air quality. These include showers, strong winds, better mixing height, fog-free sky and higher ventilation index which have helped in dispersion of pollutants.
Delhi Weather Forecast
The India Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy sky today. The maximum and minimum temperatures will remain 28 and 15 degrees Celsius respectively. Mist will engulf parts of national capital during morning hours from 2 to 6 March. Strong surface winds are expected to prevail on 4 and 5 March. According to IMD’s observation, there has been slight fall in minimum temperatures and slight rise in maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours. This data indicates that the weather is undergoing transition in Delhi, and warmer days are expected ahead.

Delhi Pollution: AQI Forecast
According to the Air Quality Early Warning System For Delhi, the AQI is likely to be in the moderate category from 1 to 3 March. Air quality is likely to remain in the moderate category for next six days.
Notably, Delhi recorded its lowest AQI in 2025 on Friday (28 February) with average of 121, according to the daily bulletin by CPCB.
