Delhi Weather Update: Delhi residents will experience hot weather during the day, as the maximum temperature is expected to soar to 37 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The sky will remain will mainly clear, with a minimum temperature of 16 degrees Celsius. Tuesday, 25 March will be the hottest day in March if the mercury rises to 37 degrees during the day. As March comes to an end, the maximum temperature is expected to increase further in the coming days. April might record the highest and rising temperatures. North westerly winds will continue to prevail in parts of the city.
Hot Days Ahead
The days have turned significantly hotter over the national capital. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there has been appreciable rise in maximum temperatures and no large change in minimum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are currently in the range of 34 to 37°C and 15 to 17°C respectively.

Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For This Week
Talking about how the weather will be over the next seven days, the IMD has forecasted rising temperatures and strong surface winds. Clear skies have been predicted until 26th March, while partly cloudy sky condition is expected from 28th to 30th March. Strong surface winds will prevail over national capital from 27th March and will continue until 30th March. The speed of these surface winds will be 20-30 km/h. Maximum temperature is expected to touch 38 degrees Celsius on 26th March and 36 degrees Celsius on 27th March. These days can be called as the hottest days in March, based on the data observed. While there will be a rise in maximum temperature, minimum temperature is expected to remain in the range 17 to 19 degrees Celsius.

AQI In Delhi
The air quality in the national capital has dropped to the ‘poor’ category. The AQI was recorded at 207 on Tuesday at 6 am, according to the CPCB.
