Delhi Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the rainy spell will continue over the national capital until July 18. In its latest press release dated July 12, the Weather Department stated that skies will mostly remain cloudy and that the city will experience very light to light showers, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Moreover, maximum temperatures are expected to remain below the 35 degrees Celsius mark, offering a respite from the hot and humid conditions.
The National Capital Region, including Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and Noida, has been experiencing intermittent rainfall over the past few days. The showers have brought down temperatures, offering pleasant weather ideal for outdoor activities. However, the wet spell has also triggered severe waterlogging and traffic disruptions in several areas. The monsoon is expected to gain further momentum by the end of July.
