New Delhi. The wait for RapidX of Delhi-NCR residents is about to end as India’s first regional rail is going to start operating next week. The special thing is that the daughters driving this train are from a city in Uttar Pradesh.
Not only the train driver but also the station controller is the daughter of the same city. It means the country’s first regional railway will be run by the daughters of Uttar Pradesh.
The primary section of RapidX from Sahibabad to Duhai depot is going to be inaugurated. It will be flagged off by the Prime Minister on 16 or 18 October during Navratri. Its preparations are also going on at a fast pace. This is a special achievement for Ghaziabad city. It is a bigger achievement for the city that the daughters running RapDix are from this city. Resham from Ghaziabad is running RapidX. She has been trialling it for the last several months.
Resham will drive the RapidX on the inauguration day and further. Ghaziabad’s daughter is not only responsible for running the train but also controlling the station. The controller of Sahibabad station is Anju Goswami, she is a resident of Ghaziabad city. After this, many more daughters of Ghaziabad got involved in the operation of RapidX. That is, it is a matter of pride for Ghaziabad that the operation of the first RapidX is starting and the daughters driving it are also from this city.
Chief Minister To Take Stock Of Preparations
The Chief Minister will reach CISF, Indirapuram on Thursday afternoon at 3.40 pm. From here, he will reach the venue Sector 8 Vasundhara at 4.20. He will also take stock of the preparations.
CM Yogi will stay here for about twenty minutes. After this, he will reach RapidX station Sahibabad at 4.45 pm. From where NCRTC officials will give a presentation regarding the program. CM will leave for Lucknow from Hindon Airport at 6.15 pm. Speedy work is being done at the public meeting venue.
