Ghaziabad: There is good news for passengers from Bihar, as soon they will have another option for air travel besides Delhi. This comes afterIndiGo Airlines recently announced that it will start flights from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to eight major cities across India starting July 20. These cities include Ahmedabad, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Varanasi, and Patna. With this, daily flight service from Patna Airport to Hindon Airport is scheduled to begin on July 20, and bookings have already started.
IndiGo To Start Flight Services To 8 Cities From Hindon
With the addition of new routes, the total number of daily flights from Hindon Airport has increased to 21. IndiGo airline’s decision to operate flights from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to 8 major cities of the country is expected to ease travel for passengers in the Delhi-NCR region. This will serve as an alternative to the busy Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. IndiGo had announced to start flights to cities like Ahmedabad, Indore, Patna, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Varanasi from July 20.
While Air India Express is already operating flights to some of these cities, the addition of IndiGo flights will definitely boost connectivity from Hindon Airport.

The starting fare from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to Patna Airport on July 20 is Rs 4150 and the fare from Patna Airport to Ghaziabad Airport on the same day is Rs 4700. Reportedly, this flight has 180 seats and all are economy class.
The journey from Ghaziabad to Patna is about one hour and 45 minutes. This flight service is expected to significantly ease travel for passengers from Bihar heading to Ghaziabad and Noida.
