Lucknow: After an incident from Rajasthan’s Jalore shocked the nation by revealing inhumane behaviour of teacher towards a Dalit student, another such incident has been reported from Sirsiya in Uttar Pradesh.

In this incident, a teacher allegedly thrashed a 13-year-old boy to death over Rs 250. The boy died in hospital in Bahraich on August 17 while undergoing treatment. The victim was a student of class 3.

“My brother was beaten by his teacher because of school fees – Rs 250 per month. I had given it online but the master did not know and brutally beat my brother up… his hand was fractured and there was internal bleeding… he killed him,” said Rajesh Vishwakarma, deceased student’s brother.

A case has been filed in the matter while the police has also initiated the probe into the matter.
