Mumbai: After a Google image of Chabad house was recovered from two suspected terrorist arrested for planning an attack in Rajasthan, Mumbai Police have heightened the security outside the property.

It is worth noting that the Chabad house was one of the targets of 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai in 2008.

However, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has identified the accused as Mohammad Imran Mohammad Yunus Khan and Mohammad Yunus Mohammad Yakub Saki – residents of Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.

ATS has taken the custody of both the terrorists. During the investigation police recovered the Google image of Chabad House from their possession.

Earlier, the ATS has taken one more person into custody for providing shelters to both the suspected terrorists.

As per the statement issued by the Maharashtra ATS on July 27, the two suspected terrorists took the help of the person residing in Pune to make the arrangements for their shelter when they arrived in the city to execute their plan.

“Over the information received by the ATS during the interrogation of the accused, the person who provided the shelter was first detained then he was arrested and booked along with the two other suspects,” ATS said, in a statement.

“Both the accused were booked under the UAPA charges for planning a deadly attack in Rajasthan,” Maharashta ATS further said.

In an official statement, ATS said, “During the investigation, they unearthed that the both of the accused were planning to carry out anti-national activities with the sole purpose to disrupt the unity and safety of the country.”

“To conduct this, both of them took training to making bombs and the required raw material to manufacture it was also found in the possession of the accused,” they said.

“Apart from this, the ATS has also recovered a tent form their residence which they planned to use to have shelter in the jungles. Additionally, the police also recovered laptop, some Arabic literature, and a shining white powder – which is only found in explosives. They also had a drone, electronic circuits item soldering machine,” it added.
