The Mumbai carriageway of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will have restrictions because a flyover and an underpass are being built at Kalamboli Circle, according to Navi Mumbai traffic police.
Navi Mumbai traffic police have announced that vehicles will not be allowed to take the Panvel exit route on the Mumbai carriageway of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway from Tuesday onwards for the next six months.
The Navi Mumbai traffic police’s Kalamboli unit have informed about the alternative routes to manage traffic flow during this period.
“The restriction is due to the ongoing construction of a flyover and an underpass at Kalamboli Circle by the Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation,” said Tirupati Kakde, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Navi Mumbai Police, who issued the notification.
This restriction is for the vehicles travelling towards Panvel, Mumbra, and JNPT via Kalamboli Circle. It also affects those heading towards Taloja, Kalyan, and Shilphata.
