3. Cars and light vehicles can use the Ved Bhavan service road to continue their journey,       according to officials. Vehicles approaching the city can enter Warje via Ramp Number 6.

The present detour was declared to allow for the construction of a substructure at the Pashan major bridge. Under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, the NHAI is building a 700-kilometre greenfield motorway between the two cities. The motorway will run across 12 districts and reduce travel time to about 7 hours.
