Uttar Pradesh: An IAS officer’s photo with a disabled elderly man was placed on social media, and the man approached the officer to avail of an electronic cycle.
Photos of a ‘heartwarming’ interaction between an IAS officer and a disabled elderly man in Uttar Pradesh have gone viral, with people praising the officer for looking out for the elderly man while assuring him of action.

The incident took place in Kanpur Dehat district where a man, named Dhaniram, a resident of Amraudha Nagar Panchayat, requested assistance to purchase an electric cycle through the state government’s scheme.

The Chief Development Officer, Kanpur Dehat tweeted the post with the caption, “The Chief Development Officer @saumyapandey999 heard the pain of Divyang old Dhaniram, a resident of Amraudha Nagar Panchayat, who came to buy an electronic cycle and directed the Divyangjan Adhikari to provide all possible help so that the old people can get all the benefits of the government’s schemes.”
