A total of 19,838 vacancies are opened for Bihar police constables in 2025, and the application process will be opened for a month from March 18 to April 18, according to the chairman of the Central Selection Board for Constable Recruitment on Tuesday. The CSBC chairman, Jitendra Kumar, announced the vacancies during a press conference held at Bihar Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Patna.
Kumar said the recruitment process would include a written exam and a physical test. The notification comes in the wake of a selection process for 21,391 constable posts recently concluded, with the results expected to be out by the end of March or early April.
With this notification, the Bihar Police looks at strengthening its workforce further by filling almost 20,000 additional posts. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online through the official portal of the Bihar Police Recruitment Board.

Selection Procedure The recruitment Will Consist Of Two Stages.
Written Exam: The candidates’ knowledge and aptitude were assessed.
Physical Test: Evaluation of physical fitness and physical endurance, which are important for the candidate for the selection.
