CBSE Board Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Class 10 and 12 board results soon. Once declared, the students can visit the official websites – cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in – to check and download their CBSE board result scorecards. Notably, more than 42 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 and 12 exams, which began on February 15, 2025. While the Class 10 examinations ended on March 18, Class 12 exams ended on April 4.
Students must note that the provisional mark sheets are also available on the DigiLocker app. The results will be available on the following platforms (Roll number-wise): cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, digilocker.gov.in, umang.gov.in.
Details On CBSE Passing Criteria
– For class X, students are required to secure 33% marks to pass by combining the marks of both
theory and internal assessment.
– For class XII, students are required to secure 33% mark separately in theory and practical examinations.
Details On CBSE Grace Marks
– If a student has secured 33% marks, student is declared pass.
– If any student is not able to achieve 33% marks and misses out by 1 mark or so, the decision may be taken to award the grace mark(s).
Post ‘Operation Sindoor’, tensions have risen further, leading to school closures in several areas. Some institutions may consider switching to online classes. Students are now concerned whether the India-Pakistan conflict could impact their CBSE Board Result 2025. While CBSE has not issued any official statement yet, students are advised not to fall for rumours or fake news regarding the results.
