Allegations have surfaced regarding the NEET 2024 paper being leaked and suspicions of result tampering. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is under scrutiny, with accusations of paper leak gangs being apprehended. Police have found evidence suggesting papers were sold for Rs 30 lakh each. Concerns arose after 67 students scored full marks of 720. A plea was filed in the Supreme Court seeking justice, urging for the cancellation of the exam and a thorough investigation into the issue.

Due to the gravity of the issue, the Supreme Court has served notices to the Central Government and NTA but declined to cancel the exam or halt counseling. The court will announce its decision on July 8, affecting the fate of approximately 24 lakh students who took the exam.

Four petitions have been lodged in the Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of the NEET-UG exam. Four days ago, another petition was filed urging for the cancellation of the exam and an investigation into the alleged scam by the CBI. Additionally, seven petitions have been filed in various High Courts across the country, including the Delhi High Court.

The Supreme Court has directed all High Courts to transfer petitions regarding the NEET controversy to itself. In the Rajasthan High Court, a student named Tanuja Yadav has filed a petition. Tanuja has complained that the exam paper was provided half an hour late, insufficient time was given to complete the paper, and grace marks were not awarded.
