The registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025, being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), closes today. With the NTA’s official site jeemain.nta.nic.in, candidates can apply online way-up to 9:00 PM today at the latest.
The correction window for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 will begin on February 27. The correction facility will remain open until February 28, 2025, until 11:50 PM.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Registering Steps
Step 1. Visit the official website of JEE Main, jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the “New Registration” link
Step 3. You will reach another page
Step 4. Fill in details such as name, mobile number, and email address
Step 5. You will receive the login credentials after registration
Step 6. Fill in the application form with your personal and educational particulars
Step 7. Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature
Step 8. Pay the JEE Main application fee and press the “Submit” button
Step 9. Take a printout of the confirmation page for future references
JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern
There will be two papers in JEE Main:
Paper 1: For admissions into B.E./B.Tech in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and any other state-recognized institutes. Paper 1 also stands as the eligibility test for the JEE Advanced, which is mandatory for admissions into IITs.
Paper 2: For B.Arch and B.Planning courses, further categorized into two papers:
Paper 2A: B.Arch
Paper 2B: B.Planning.
Exam Mode
Paper 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Paper 2A: Mathematics and Aptitude in computer mode; Drawing Test on A4 sheets (offline)
Paper 2B: Questions based on Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning in computer mode.
