Punjab Police Recruitment 2023: The Punjab Police Recruitment Board will open the online application window for recruitment to the post of Police Constable today, February 15. Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the vacancies on the official website www.punjabpolice.gov.in from 7.00 pm onwards. The last date to apply for the post is March 8 at 11.55 pm.

A total of 1746 vacancies of Constable in Punjab Police will be filled through this recruitment drive, out of which, 570 posts have been reserved for women.

Learn Aptitude

To apply for the post of constable, the candidate must have a 12th pass. It should be passed from the 10+2 pattern, it is also necessary. Ex-servicemen can apply even after the 10th pass. Age Limit 18 years to 28 Years as on 1st January 2023.

Salary

Candidates will get a salary of Rs 19,900 upon getting selected for the post of constable. Check the notice to know the details. The selection will be done after passing the multiple-stage exam.

Punjab Police Recruitment 2023: How to apply? 

  • Visit the official website punjabpolice.gov.in
  • Go to ‘Recruitment’ – Click on the Constable Application link.
  • Register and proceed with the application process.
  • Fill out the form, pay the fee and upload the required documents.
  • Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of three stages- Stage-I (Computer based, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type paper viz. Paper-I and Paper-II, out of which Paper-II will be qualifying), Stage-II (Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test) and Stage-III (Document Scrutiny).
