UGC NET 2023: Important news has come to the fore for the students participating in the UGC NET Exam 2023 to be conducted by the National Testing Agency. The UGC NET December exam was conducted in five phases for 83 subjects over 16 days in 32 shifts at 663 centres across the country. A total of 8,34,537 candidates appeared for the exam between February 21 and March 16.

The final answer key of this exam has been released and now its result will also be released soon. No official announcement has been made by the UGC regarding the release of its result, but according to media reports, it can be released at any time today.

UGC NET 2023: Required marks to pass

Two papers were conducted in the exam. The first paper was 100 marks while the second paper was 200 marks. To pass both these papers, it will be mandatory for the general candidate to score 40% marks. On the other hand, for OBC, SC ST and others, it is necessary to bring 35 per cent marks.

  • First of all, candidates go to the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  • Then click on the result link
  • Submit by filling in the personal details
  • The result will appear on the screen
  • Download a copy of the result and keep it with you

UGC NET exam assesses the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in various universities and colleges across the country. All those candidates who have completed their post-graduation or appearing in the final year of post-graduation can apply for this exam.
