Here is a bad news for the fans of the long-running Indian crime show, CID. As the show recently make a comeback on netflix, fans are really happy and excited but now recent reports suggest that the makers have made a bold decision regarding ACP Pradyuman’s fate.
According to the latest updates, veteran actor Shivaji Satam’s iconic character may meet a tragic end in the upcoming episodes of the show.
ACP Pradyuman’s Shocking Exit?
According to the reports by India Today, ACP Pradyuman is all set to die in a bomb blast planned by the villian Barbosa which is played by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The storyline will reportedly show the bomb targeting the CID squad. In this bomb blast ACP will be sacrificing his life, while other team members will remain unharmed.
Reports further suggests that: “The team recently shot the episode, which will air in a few days. Details are being kept under wraps to make this a major surprise for fans.”

CID originally ended its 20-year run on Sony TV on October 27, 2018. The show featured a strong talented cast including Aditya Srivastava as Sr. Inspector Abhijeet and Dayanand Shetty as Sr. Inspector Daya.
After years of wait, CID 2 came back on December 21, 2024, on Sony TV and is currently streaming on Netflix. The franchise also introduced an animated version titled CID Squad – Naye Yug Ka Naya CID.
