Ashish Chanchlani has broken his silence after being involved in a controvrsy due to his appearance in the show ‘India’s Got Latent’. For the unversed, India’s Got Latent received backlash due to ‘offensive’ statements by Ranveer Allahbadia, who was also a guest on the show with Ashish. The YouTuber has posted a video on Instagram in which he asked his fans to support him and his family in this tough time.
Sharing the video, Ashish wrote, “Take care everyone, thanks for being there.”
Ashish received immense support from him fans after he uploaded the video. Netizens showed their support and sent him best wishes amid this ongoing controversy.

In the video, Ashish said, “Main aap sabse bas yahi request karta hoon ki meri family aur mujhe apni prayers mein rakhna. Jab bhi main wapas aaun, mera kaam thoda idhar-udhar ho gaya hoga, lekin tab bhi support karna. I will work hard, as I have always worked hard. Bus dhyan rakhiye sab log apna” (I just request all of you to keep my family and me in your prayers. Whenever I come back, my work might be a little all over the place, but still, please support me. I will work hard, as I have always done. Just take care of yourselves, everyone).
Ranveer, Ashish and social media influencer Apoorva Makhija appeared on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. The backlash was caused due to Ranveer’s question for one contestant as he said, “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?”
These comments caused huge backlash, which led to many people demanding ban of India’s Got Latent and Ranveer’s podcasts.
Meanwhile, in a new development to this, the Supreme Court has now allowed Ranveer to resume releasing his podcast ‘The Ranveer Show’. The SC also asked him to maintain the ‘morality and decency’ in his podcast.
