Awarapan 2 Announced: Emraan Hashmi has delivered several intense romantic movies in his career and they have been well received by the audience. He is all set to return with a sequel of his cult classic film ‘Awarapan’ and has announced the film’s release date and teaser as well. This bog announcement also coincides with Emraan’s birthday.

Awarapan 2 will release in theatres on April 3, 2026.
Sharing the teaser, Emraan wrote, “Bas mujhe kuch aur der zinda rakh… Awarapan2 in cinemas, 3rd April 2026.”

The movie will be directed by Nitin Kakkar, written by Bilal Siddiqi and produced by Vishesh Bhatt.
Fans are over the moon with the announcement of Awarapan 2. One netizen wrote, “2000s era of Emraan is back.. Hope they have taken inputs of Mahesh Bhatt sahab and Mohit Suri in the film. Bhatt sahab is the creative force behind Vishesh Films and career maker of Emraan, Mohit, and so many talents!”

Awarapan revolved around Shivam, who is a hitman and is asked to keep an eye on his boss’s mistress. Things take a turn when he finds out that she has been a victim of sex trafficking and decides to unite her with her lover. Directed by Mohit Suri and written by Shagufta Rafique, the movie also starred Shriya Saran, Mrinalini Sharma, and Ashutosh Rana.
On the work front, Emraan was last seen in the movie ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. He will next star in two Telugu movies ‘They Call Him OG’ with Pawan Kalyan and ‘G2’ with Adivi Sesh.
