New Delhi: Sreejita De of Bigg Boss 16 is dating her longtime boyfriend Michael Blohm-Pape. The couple, who got engaged a while back, is now planning their wedding! Sreejita confirmed her and Michael’s wedding date in a news media interview. The wedding will take place in Michael’s home country of Germany.
Sreejita De will marry Michael Blohm-Pape in Germany on July 1. This year’s traditional Indian wedding will take place in October or November. Sreejita told a media portal, “It is not going to be a fusion wedding. The first one will be a proper traditional German wedding. Then we will have an Indian way, Bengali wedding, which will be in India; maybe in Goa or Kolkata. That’s yet to be decided. The German wedding is in Germany.”

Sreejita and Michael were going to tie the knot. However, due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, the couple decided to postpone their wedding until everything returned to normal.
Earlier speaking to India Today Television, the actress shared that they had planned to tie the knot in early 2021. “We’d planned to get married by early 2021 but looking at the current situation, it doesn’t seem possible.” She further added, “We get married once so we want it to be a grand celebration and not with just a few people. Michael’s family stays in Germany and it will be difficult for them to travel to India so we have decided to postpone our wedding.”
Last January, Michael Blohm-Pape got down on one knee to propose to Sreejita De in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
Sreejita and Michael have been in a relationship for almost three years. They initially met in a coffeehouse. Michael, a German national, is currently working in India.
