Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan aka BigB has reportedly made a second investment in Ayodhya, a city famous for historical and religious significance especially after the establishment of the Ram Mandir. According to reports from The Times of India, the actor has bought a piece of land located just 10 kilometres away from the temple.
The First Land Purchase
This is not the first time the Big B has shown interest in Ayodhya’s land. On January 16, 2023, Amitabh made his first land purchase in that region by buying property at Haveli Avadh for Rs 4.54 crore approx. The land was reportedly bought for residential use, this shows actor’s interest in the city.
Pratap Singh, Assistant Inspector General of the stamp and registration department in Ayodhya confirmed the sale but told that the purpose of the investment would only be clear once the building plan is approved by local authorities.
However, sources close to the actor have hinted that while the first land is expected to serve residential purposes, this new land will likely be used for charitable purposes.
