Brad Pitt is gearing up for the release if his film ‘F1’, which has created excitement among his fans worldwide. However, his personal life has also been in the limelight and the superstar recently reacted to his divorce with Angelina Jolie. While speaking to GQ Magazine, Brad Pitt expressed his annoyance on how his personal life is discussed in public and said that his divorce was not a major thing.
Brad Pitt said, “My personal life is always in the news. It’s been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let’s put it that way.” He added, “It’s been an annoyance I’ve had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do. So, it’s always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that. I don’t know. I don’t know.”
Talking about his divorce, he further said, “No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie settled their divorce after eight years in December 2024. The paperwork was finalised on December 30 and Jolie’s lawyer James Simon also released an official statement after the settlement. Simon shared that Angelina is exhausted and has been focused on finding peace and healing.
Simon stated, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
For the unversed, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 and said that Brad Pitt allegedly was abusive toward her and their children. In 2019, they were declared divorced but the division of assets and child custody caused the delay in settlement.
