Chhaava Vs The Diplomat: Vicky Kaushal’s historical film, Chhaava, is having a great run at the box office, earning ₹7.25 crore on Holi. The movie, based on Maratha King Sambhaji Maharaj, has impressed viewers and is expected to reach even more milestones, despite competition from John Abraham’s The Diplomat.

Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhaava has made a big impact at the box office, even on the fifth Friday since its release.
After seeing a drop in collections the previous week, the movie bounced back from ₹4-5 crore and regained its momentum on Holi. Chhaava is expected to do even better over the Holi weekend.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava earned ₹7.25 crore on March 14, its fifth Friday in theatres. The film has been in theatres for four weeks now.
In its fourth week, Chhaava earned around ₹55.95 crore. Sacnilk reported that the movie made ₹44.15 crore in Hindi, and its Telugu version earned ₹11.8 crore.
The total earnings for Chhaava at the domestic box office is ₹546.75 crore, with ₹534.2 crore from the Hindi version and ₹12.55 crore from the Telugu version. The film is expected to reach a new milestone over the weekend.

The only competition for Chhaava at the box office is John Abraham’s new movie The Diplomat, which has become a popular second choice for moviegoers. Despite the strong competition from Vicky Kaushal’s hit film Chhaava, John Abraham’s movie had a good start on Friday, March 14.

In 28 days, Chhaava has earned ₹546.75 crore in India (net collection). As of March 14, its total worldwide collection is ₹731 crore, with ₹87.50 crore coming from overseas.

Chhaava is a historical drama directed by Laxman Utekar. The film is based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his tough fight against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. In the movie, Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Yesubai, and Akshaye Khanna plays the Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb.
