British band Coldplay did five grand shows in India and received immense love from their fans. After their successful shows, band’s lead singer Chris Martin was recently seen in Prayagraj to attend Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. He waved to fans while he was seen sitting in his car.

Earlier, Chris visited Shri Babulnath Temple in Mumbai with his girlfriend Dakota Johnson, popular Hollywood actor.
Meanwhile, their show in Ahmedabad has created history and achieved a huge milestone. According to reports, Coldplay has created history as their show at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 26 became the most attended music concert ever in Asia in the 21st century. Around 1 lakh 34 thousand people attended the show in Ahmedabad.
Coldplay consists of four members: Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and Phil Harvey.
In an interview with Zane Lowe, Chris Martin revealed that Coldplay will retire after making 12 albums. This heartbreaking news has made fans question if Coldplay will stop doing concerts as well after officially retiring. He also said that he might collaborate with other bandmates in the future but it will be beyond touring. He explained, “So if we do something together after that creatively beyond touring, then it’ll be something different.”

While talking about the decision to retire after making 12 albums, he shared, “We are only going to do 12 proper albums and that’s real. Having that limit means the quality control is so high right now and for a song to make it, it’s almost impossible, which is great. And so where we could be coasting, we’re trying to improve.”
