Pankaj Tripathi’s series ‘Criminal Justice’ has received a lot of praise and appreciation from both the audience and critics for all three seasons. Criminal Justice: A Family Matter released on May 29 on JioHotstar. Its three episodes are already streaming on the platform and a new episode will release every Thursday.
The show focuses on one murder victim, two prime suspects and everyone from the same family. The plot will revolve around Advocate Madhav Mishra and how he solves this case.
Apart from Pankaj Tripathi, the show also stars Mohammed Zzeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawala, Asha Negi, Khushboo Atrem Mita Vashisht, Shweta Basy Prasad, Khushi Bharadwaj and Barkha Singh.
In an exclusive interview with News24, Asha Negi talks about her experience of working in Criminal Justice Season 4 and starring alongside seasoned actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, and more. Sharing her response to joining an established series like Criminal Justice in the fourth season, Asha says, “I didn’t feel any pressure but I was a little nervous and excited.”
While talking about doing an intense role in Criminal Justice Season 4, she shares, “I was very nervous because all of them are like such good actors. So doubts were there, but no hesitation. The director and the entire team were so good. They made me feel so comfortable. And even the actors, everybody was very supportive.”
Talking about her experience of working with seasoned actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Surveen Chawala and Zeeshan Ayyub, she adds, “They all were so easy to be around and to perform with. And I think that is so beautiful. Their work speaks for themselves.”
Pankaj Tripathi appeared in every season as the protagonist but the rest of the cast changed with the new storyline. Its first season starred Vikrant Massey, Jackie Shroff, Anupriya Goenka and Mita Vashisht. The second season starred Kirti Kulhari, Jisshu Sengupta and Khushboo Atre. The last season starred Shweta Basu Prasad, Purab Kohli, Swastika Mukherjee and Adinath Kothare.
On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi will next star in Anurag Basu’s film Metro In Dino.
