Bollywood actor Govinda, who has been away from the film industry for several year is recently making headlines regarding his divorce rumours with wife Sunita Ahuja.
The couple is reportedly parting ways as Sunita has filed a divorce petition against the actor. However, neither of them has confirmed the news, their family persons or the close one’s are reacting to the rumours in their way.
In a recent conversation with Mukesh Khanna on his official Youtube channel, Govinda made some shocking revelations about the dark side of the film industry.
Govinda Reflects On Turning Down Big Projects
During the interview, Govinda reflected on a time when he struggled to find work in the industry. He revealed that he had turned down films worth Rs. 100 crore, which he later regretted.
Actor stated: “When they were writing that I didn’t have work, I had actually turned down films worth 100 crores”. He added that the roles that were offered to him were similar to those that are doing well in today’s time.
When he was asked about stepping into politics, Govinda opened up about the challenges that he has to go though being in the industry. “I went through a defamation phase, and it was pre-planned. They wanted to remove me from the industry,” revealed the ‘Dulhe Raja’ actor. Govinda further added that the conspiracy didn’t only included his professional life but also impacted his personal life.

“When conspiracies against me began, even attempts on my life started. Many people were caught outside my house with guns, and different methods were taken to throw me out of this industry” Govinda revealed. He explained that all these incidents are the reasons for change in his personality. “After these conspiracies, my nature changed,” he said.

Govinda’s last silver screen appearance was from the film Rangeela Raja (2019) which did not perform well at the box office. However, the actor remains positive about his future, revealing that he has three upcoming projects in the line-up.
