In August 2023, Farhan Akhtar made a special announcement regarding the highly anticipated third installment of the hit franchise, revealing that Ranveer Singh would be portraying the iconic character of Don. The announcement came through a captivating teaser video where Ranveer was depicted sitting in a building, with his back turned to the camera. Lighting a cigarette, he introduced himself as Don before dramatically turning to face the camera, setting the stage for his portrayal of the beloved character. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan had previously essayed the role in the earlier versions of the franchise.
As of now, an official announcement regarding the remaining cast of Don 3 is still awaited. The Don series has a reputation for delivering compelling stories, exhilarating action sequences, and unforgettable moments. The first installment of the franchise, simply titled Don, starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Boman Irani in prominent roles.
